A space created to share food with both sides of the printed picnic blanket representing the cultivation and preservation of tradition through the sharing of a meal.

The four metre long picnic blanket is a delicate nod to lineage and the carrying of heritage that has been cultivated beyond the land. With reference to my grandparents and their deep connection to the heritage and the continuation of tradition. They create a land beyond their land as they carry and pass their practices on.
